Our Two Minuet Opening

In our opening two minuets we will show Chris mates calling for him to play football, Chris agrees and we film Chris and his mates walking up toward the park. On the way Chris spots some of the gang members, he tries to warn his friends before the gang members see him but its too late. The gang members chase Chris and his friends down the road to a park and corner them and we show one punch then and then film Chris getting away. Near the end of the two minuets we show Chris returning to the park to see his two friends laying on the floor in serious pain and he hears the ambulance near coming to take them to hospital.

Bruce's Ideas For Our Opening

When I pitched our idea to Bruce he said that it was a good idea but suggests we give the main character (Chris) an emotive to get involved in the gang in the first place. We took this idea on board and came up with a reason for why Chris gets involved with the gang in the first place and the reason is because hes real dad walked out on him when he was 8 and his step dad abuses him.

30 Second Prelim

Our 30 second prelim will be a police women (Holly Nixon) interviewing the main character (George Austin) about what he saw on the night they were jumped. The prelim links in with our opening and is after and is set after the opening. We will use a verity of camera shots during the prelim.

Synopsis

               

Our film is about a young teenage boy called Chris aged 16 who lives in Southampton with his mum and his younger brother, He's a normal teenage boy with normal teenage friends. He goes to college and likes play lots of different sports, but one thing that's missing from his life is a father figure. Because his father walked out on when he was 8. This leads to him sometimes getting in to trouble at school. The film starts off with him frantically running as they are being chased by a group of teenagers around the age of 18 and shows them cornered in a forest with nowhere to run. The film then switches back (using a black screen with 2 months later on) to the group of friends at collage, after that day of collage he decides to go down the shop and on his way there is approached by a group of boys around the age of 18. They start talking to him in an intimidating way this group then makes him on of their own.

The group that take him in are not the nicest and seem to cause trouble and crime nearly everywhere they go, They fight, steal and get arrested a lot, as the film progresses he gets more and more involved with this group, Chris starts getting in to fights and his grades at collage drop drastically because the group get him to bunk his classes. 1 month later after joining this group his mum starts to get increasingly worried about him and try to knock some sense in to him but the words they say don't make much of a change. But when the group meets again he then realises that he needs to get his act straight, he starts thinking this because the group start selling and getting involved with drugs which is one thing that he parents said to not do, He wants to get out of the group but he knows that the group won’t let him, but despite that he still try's, he blocks there numbers, blocks them on all social media websites and stops hanging around with them completely.

 

 as the days roll on he thinks he got away because no one from the group has attempted to contact him. His friends then manage to persuade him to go play football with them down the local park on their way to the park he spots 4 of the group members at the nearby shops and before Chris has time to tell his friends to get out of there, they group see them and start running after Chris and his friends, They are chased down the road towards a wooded area the area featured at the start of the film. The group corner Chris and his friends. The group then approaches them and start attacking them; Chris manages to break away and starts running. After 5 minutes of hiding Chris decides to return to see his two friends laid motionless on the floor, he calls and an ambulance to try and save his friends. One the two friends have been taking to hospital they are both in critical condition. Chris is distraught and massively regrets his actions of the last 2 months and he still doesn't know if his friends will ever forgive him for his actions.  

Start Of Project

The Main Task: The titles and opening of a new fiction film, to last a maximum of tow minutes.
We are a group of 3, Me, George Austin and Lewis Arpels. We have planned to make a comedy action film (Opening Scene). We will try to inclued as much information as we can so people can understand the story line but leave it on a cliffhanager/twist.
